Unprovoked firing by Indian Army on LoC injures 2 senior elders

Rawalpindi: Two senior citizens were injured as a result of unprovoked firing by the Indian Army on the Line of Control (LoC).

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the Indian Army opened fire on the LOC in Baruh and Khanjar sectors without provocation.

The ISPR said that the Indian Army targeted the civilian population with mortar shells and automatic weapons, injuring two senior citizens who were rushed to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.

ISPR says the Indian Army has violated the ceasefire agreement 38 times since January 1.
