United opposition not taken into confidence over reference against PM: Liaqat Baloch

LAHORE: Jamaat-e-Islami Acting Ameer Liaqat Baloch said that Pakistan People’s Party and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf did not take opposition parties on board over the reference, seeking Prime Ministers’ disqualification.  

While addressing to Iftar dinner, given by UC89 Vice Chairman Abid Mir, Baloch said that all opposition parties unanimously demanded measures for judicial commission for the ruthless and indiscriminate accountability. He said that JI’s Corruption Free Pakistan campaign will continue and added that accountability should be applied to all corrupts elements either affiliated with government, opposition, bureaucracy or any other sector.

The JI leader said PTI and PPP should have took the united opposition into confidence over the reference. He said JI will hold pedestrian march after the Eidul Fitr in Rawalpindi. Baloch said the march will be proved a milestone for the elimination of corruption and corrupt elements of the country.

He said the whole nation united against corruption. Baloch said no one will be allowed to appoint “blue eyed” officers in National Accountability Bureau and the judiciary will not come under  pressure of the corrupt mafia.

He expressed his satisfaction over the failure of India in a move to get Nuclear Supplier Group membership and appreciate China as well as other countries for foiling US bid to destroy the power equilibrium in South Asia.

While talking about referendum in British, he said that Britain’s decision raised question over the future of European Union. He demanded of the international community to support Kashmiri’s right to Self-determination.
