KASUR: An under custody accused was killed in police encounter after his accomplices attacked the police party to free him here on Tuesday.
Police said that it was taking a culprit for recovery of weapons, when cohorts attacked the police party in Allahabad area of district Kasur. The under custody culprit was killed in the firing of his accomplices. The attackers fled away after retaliatory action of the police.
The body of accused killed in the encounter was shifted to hospital for medico-legal formalities.
