LAHORE: Jamaat-e-Islami Secretary General Liaqat Baloch emphasized the United Nations (UN) and international community to make implement its resolutions on Kashmir regarding right to self determination.
While addressing a press conference in Lahore, Baloch said that tens of thousands of Kashmiris were martyred by the occupied Indian forces as international community failed to fulfill its promises with the Kashmiris despite passing 70 years. He said that it was an ethical responsibility of UN and international community to make implement its resolutions about Kashmiris’ right to self determination.
Baloch said Indian forces sabotaged peace in the region. He said Pakistan and India fought four wars on Kashmir and now both countries had become nuclear powers. The JI leader urged the international community to ensure regional peace and rescue the Kashmiris from Indian atrocities.
