LAHORE: Pakistan batsman Umar Akmal has admitted his violation of the PC Anti-Corruption Code and apologized from the nation.
Umar Akmal’s video message was released by Pakistan Cricket Board, which is part of Rehab.
“Last year I made a mistake that damaged my career and cricket. Some people contacted me but I did not inform the PCB Anti-Corruption in time,” Omar Akmal said in his video message.
He said that he had faced 12-month suspension for not informing the PCB of fixing offer in time.
