LONDON: Britain would be free of the coronavirus by August this year, the country’s vaccine task force chief told Daily Telegraph

Britain’s departing vaccine task force chief Clive Disk told the newspaper that the deadly virus would no longer exist in the country by August this year.

“I expect everyone in the country to have vaccinated once by the end of July,” the vaccine task force chief said.

Britain has so far administered 51 million coronavirus vaccines becoming the second quickest country to administer the first jab to at least half of its adult population.
