LONDON: British Prime Minister Boris Johnson is recovering well and is in cheerful spirits, says a senior minister on Sunday.
The British PM had stayed at intensive care for three days before being discharged from hospital last week.
Senior Minister Michael Gove said that the British prime minister had talked to his deputy Dominic Raab on Friday.
The coronavirus pandemic has so far killed 15,464 people in the UK, which is under lockdown since March 23.
