The UAE Dirham (AED) exchange in Pakistan today registered gains, standing at Rs76.01 in the open market.
The selling rate of dirham also witnessed an hike of Rs0.6, reaching Rs76.28.
As of February 6, the UAE dirham is being traded in the opne market at Rs76.01. As a result, 1,000 dirhams is equivalent to Rs76,010 in Pakistani currency.
Pakistan and the UAE and share strong economic ties as the former consistently extending support to latter when needed.
The UAE, recently, rolled over two deposits of $1 billion each placed with Pakistan’s central bank for another year.
Both the brethren are also engaged in various ventures, with a UAE firm recently investing in Pakistani ports.
