JERUSALEM: Two rockets fired from violence-plagued Sinai Peninsula of Egypt hit Israeli territory here on Friday, however, no casualty was reported so far.
A military spokesperson told AFP that southern part of Israel received two rockets explosion fired from Sinai but the attack caused no physical or material damage.
It should be mentioned that Egypt is suffering deadly attacks from militant group the Islamic State on its security forces in Sinai Peninsula, killing scores of troops and civilians in series of attacks.
On Wednesday, Egypt’s military deployed F-16 warplanes to bombard IS fighters who battled troops in a North Sinai town after launching a surprise dawn attack on army checkpoints.
