As many as two Red Cross aid workers were gunned down in northern Yameni province by unknown armed men on Wednesday, a spokesman for the international aid group said.
“Two of our colleagues were shot and killed in their car …as they were travelling back …to Sanaa,” Adnan Hizam said by telephone from the Yemeni capital.
Armed men escaped from the site after shooting down the innocent workers.
Their bodies have been shifted to a local hospital.
