Two persons have been gunned down by unidentified assailants in Korangi area of Karachi on Monday late night, local media reported.
Unknown gunmen resorted to heavy firing on a moving vehicle in Korangi 1.5 Number bridge that injured two persons on board.
However, both wounded succumbed to injuries before being shifted to the hospital. The victims were identified as Azhar Mehmood and Ali, police said.
Rescue team rushed at the incident’s site immediately and shifted the dead bodies to the hospital.
Police cordoned off whole area while heavy contingent of law enforcement agencies were deployed across the sensitive spots of the areas.
