CHAKWAL: Unidentified armed men gunned down two retired employees of government and fled from the scene of the crime here on Tuesday.
Police said that unknown armed men opened indiscriminate fire at two retired government employees in Mera Town of Chakwal while they were on their way to receive pension from bank in Kallar Kahar. As a result of firing both pensioners died on the spot and the assailants fled the scene after committing dual murder.
The bodies were shifted to hospital for medico-legal formalities. Police feared that the incident was outcome of personal enmity. However, a case has been registered against unknown attackers and investigation was in progress.
