KARACHI: The federal government has released two-month salary, Rs960 million, for the 15,000 employees of Pakistan Steel Mill (PSM).
The countrywide employees are given this big news to celebrate after months of wait, as Eid-ul-Adha is just around the corner.
It is a usual thing for PSM employees to have late salaries, but how do they manage without salary for months together, is a million dollar question.
Spokesperson PSM told Jasarat Website that the salary was of June and July, while next salary could be possible right after the Eid.
‘Financial process takes time specially when it is a government matter, Rs960m have been released on Monday which is a big amount,’ he said.
