KARACHI: At least two gang-war operatives were killed in an armed encounter with the security forces in Lyari.
The deceased Muhammed Baloch and Bilawal alias Shah Ji belonged to Uzair Baloch group. They were wanted by police for involvement in multiple crimes including murder, kidnapping for ransom, extortion and hand grenade attacks, according to Police.
On the other hand, Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) of Sindh police arrested a target killer hailing from a political party.
According to CTD’s Mazhar Mashwani, the outlaw, Sher Ahmed, is involved in killing of seven people including two Rangers personnel.
Mean while, a law-enforcement agency raided a textile mill situated in Nooriabad and arrested a vital member of banned organisation.
Four bombs were seized from the custody of Aqeel Ansari, who has been shifted to an undisclosed location for interrogations.
