MULTAN: Two laborers in Dera Muhammadi area of Multan died of electrocution on Sunday while doing work at a construction site.
The incident occurred when Junaid and Shakir were killed after being hit by 11KV wires.
Relatives of the deceased protested and raised slogans against those responsible.
The protesters were of the view that they had asked the Wapda officials many times to remove the wires and had also submitted applications but nothing was done in this regard as a result of which the incident occurred.
Moreover, no safety measures were taken by the owner to protect the laborers from hazards.
