RAWALPINDI: Two persons were killed and the third fainted while drinking toxic liquor in Rawat area here Thursday.
According to police the condition of the drunkards deteriorated after they took the drink, killing Mubashir and Adnan while Amir Masih was shifted to District Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital.
All the three belonged to Youhanaabad Lahore and had come here in search of work and were painters.
When contacted, SP Saddar Circle Iftikhar ul Haq, confirmed the death of two persons who had consumed the poisonous liquor.
The police is probing the matter.
