QUETTA: Two people were killed in incidents of roof collapse due to snow falls during the last three days in Balochistan.
According to reports, roofs of many houses caved in due to heavy snowfalls in Quetta, Khuzdar and Harnai during which two people including a child died. Livestock’s were also killed including ten goats of a family.
In another incident, ten vehicles were damaged when roof of a garage came down. The labourers at the garage said that the owners were demanding compensation for their losses and threatening that they would be shot dead if their demands were not met. They have appealed the police to provide them security.
