Famous Sufi Qawwal Amjad Sabri was shot dead while another sustain serious injuries when assailants opened fire on his car at Liaquatabad area of Karachi on Wednesday.
Amjad Sabri received a bullet in his head and was bought dead in Abbasi Shaheed hospital, an assistant police surgeon confirmed.
The incident offered near Liaquatabad bridge when four assailants on motorcycles opened fire at his car no BEE-797, a witness said.
All off them were critically injured in the incident while Sabri succumbed to injuries, rescue officials said.
On the other hand, Saleem Sabri who was in the car with Amjad is in critical condition.
The hospital sources said, he received bullets in his face and chest.
