SUKKUR: ASP Sukkur city Muhammad Kaleem Malik on the direction of SSP Sukkur Amjad Shaikh on Monday night raided and sealed two factories for preparing adulterated red chillies in Golimar area of the district.
The officer raided the factories and recovered adulterated red chillies and found huge stocks of rotten vegetables, chemicals, synthetic colours, adulterated materials and flavours used to make the adulterated chilles.
Police have registered a case against eleven accused including Sanaullah, owner of the factory, Khadim Hussain, Johar Lal, Abdul Waheed, Syed Mureed Shah, Sikandar Ali, Shahid Ali, Naveed Ali, Ali Asghar, Ali Hassan, Allah Dino and others.
Case has been lodged at SITE Police station and further investigation started in to the matter. These chilles were being sold in huge quantities in different cities at cheaper rates compared to other varieties.
