LAHORE: Two death row prisoners mysteriously passed away in Lahore’s Court Lakpat Jail, local media reported on Wednesday.
According to reports, both deceased prisoners Amanat and Ali Sheir died in the jail earlier today.
The officials said that both of them were diabetic patients for long time and also had other diseases as well.
On the other hand the family members of both dead prisoners accused Jail authorities of showing negligence and not given them [prisoners] required treatment.
The jail officials have sent their bodies to hospital for postmortem to find out the real cause of their death.
