MANSEHRA: At least two people died and five others including women injured when a passenger jeep fell into a gorge here on Wednesday.
Police said that a passenger jeep heading towards Boi from Garhi Habibullah, tehsil Balakot district Mansehra skidded off the road and fell into deep ravine in Phoolgaran area.
Two people died on the spot in the accident while five others including two women sustained injuries.
Police and dwellers of the area reached the scene of the accident, pulled out the bodies and injured from the gorge and shifted them to hospital where condition of two wounded people was stated to be serious.
Police said that the accident took place due to poor condition of road, careless driving and investigation into the incident was underway. —INP
