RAWALPINDI: Minor girl and a civillian embraced martyrdom due to overnight unprovoked Indian firing that continued intermittently till wee hours on Monday at working boundary in Harpal, Pukhlian and Charwah sector.

Civilian Muhammad Latif of village Janglora and Haniya age one and a half years embraced Shahadat (martyrdom) while 7 other civilians were injured due to Indian firing and shelling, Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) here stated.

Pakistan Rangers Punjab in befitting manner responded to the Indian unprovoked firing and shelling at the three sectors including Harpal, Pukhlian and Charwah on working boundary.

“Intermittent exchange of firing continued throughout night,” it added.

Meanwhile, the injured civilians have been evacuated to CMH Sialkot for medical treatment.
