DUBAI: Pakistani TV anchor and senior journalist Dr. Moeed Pirzada arrested along with his relative in the Abu Dhabi, ARY News reported.
Dr. Moeed Pirzada was reportedly arrested on charges of property fraud while he was residing in Dubai to visit his ailing father in Dubai.
Pakistani ambassador to UAE Asif Durrani confirmed Pirzada’s arrest by the Dubai police while the embassy is in contact with Emirates officials.
However, Pakistan Foreign Office has not yet released any official statement regarding charges of the arrest.
