ISLAMABAD: Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan is due here on Wednesday on a two-day visit.
During the visit, first since the July 15 failed attempted military coup to oust him from power earlier this year, the Turkish president will address a joint session of parliament on November 17.
Erdogan will be accompanied by a high-level entourage – including Turkish ministers and senior officials, as well as a large business delegation. He will hold meetings with Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and President Mamnoon Hussain on a host of bilateral, regional and international issues, a handout issued by the Foreign Ministry said.
Meanwhile, Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Imran Khan has refused the to attend the joint-session of the parliament.
