ISLAMABAD: Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the Turkish president addressing the joint session of the Parliament here on Friday said that the Kashmir issue is as close to Ankara as it is to Pakistanis.
At the start of the speech, Erdogan said that he had never felt like an outsider in Pakistan. This country is always like a home.
This is record fourth time when the Turkish president is addressing the Pakistani parliament.
Upon arrival at the parliament, Erdogan was received by PM Imran Khan, Senate Chairman Sadiq Sanjrani and National Assembly Speaker Asad Qaiser.
Earlier on Thursday, Turkish President Recep Tayyib Erdogan had arrived at the Noor Khan Base on a two-day visit.
Prime Minister Imran Khan had received the Turkish president and the first lady at the air base.
Turkish President Recep Tayyib Erdogan is undertaking the visit on an invitation extended by PM Imran Khan.
The Turkish president was accompanied by leading Turkish businessmen, cabinet members and senior government officials.
