Turkey rebuilds 118-year-old historical mosque in Jhang district

ISLAMABAD: Turkey has started work on a 118-year-old historical mosque located in Jhang to restore to its former glory.

In this connection, Turkish Red Crescent laid the foundation stone for restoring the historical Hazarat Ibrahim Mosque situated in Jhang’s Village Hokran Chak.

“This is an honour to restore the historical mosque in brotherly country,” the general-secretary of Turkish Red Crescent said while speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony.

Huseyin Can said that the Turkish people would never forget the friendship of Muslims of the sub-continent.

Hazarat Ibrahim Mosque was constructed in 1901 by locals.
