ANKARA: Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has said that Turkey has steadfastly supported Pakistan.
Shahbaz Sharif, during his visit to Turkey, said that Ankara and Islamabad were like one soul in two hearts.
The chief minister, who is a younger brother of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, said that Turkey and Pakistan have been consulting each other frequently.
Speaking about Turkish investments in Pakistan, the chief minister said the volume is rising particularly in Punjab province.
There are many Turkish companies operating in Pakistan, he said.
He voiced hope to finalise a free trade agreement by the end of Dec with Turkey.
