Turkey exempts Pakistani students from mandatory paid quarantine at hotels

ANKARA: Pakistani students in Turkey have been exempted from a mandatory paid quarantine at hotels, allowing them to undergo isolation at their hostels.

The relaxation for Pakistani students has been announced by the Turkish government.

Ankara has also extended this relaxation to the students from Afghanistan.

According to Pakistani Embassy in Ankara, this rule is effective from Sept 1 for Pakistani students.

It added that Pakistani students will be quarantined at the Istanbul’s Higher Education Credit and Hostels Institution (KYK)’s Muhteşem Süleyman Dormitory and Ankara’s Tahsin Banguoğlu KYK Dormitory.

In this connection, the students will be required valid student identification document proving that they study higher education in Turkey.
