US President Donald Trump has accused Pakistan of harbouring terrorists US is hunting in Afghanistan and threatened to bock aid to Islamabad.
In a tweet, the US president wrote the United States has “foolishly” given Pakistan more than 33 billion dollars in aid over the last 15 years and has gained nothing from it.
The United States has foolishly given Pakistan more than 33 billion dollars in aid over the last 15 years, and they have given us nothing but lies & deceit, thinking of our leaders as fools. They give safe haven to the terrorists we hunt in Afghanistan, with little help. No more!

“They (Pakistan) have given us nothing but lies & deceit, thinking of our leaders as fools. They give safe haven to the terrorists we hunt in Afghanistan, with little help. No more!,” said Trump.
Trump has time and again expressed its frustration by Pakistan’s “safe havens to Taliban factions” fighting US troops and their Afghan allies.
Trump came to office indicating that Washington’s frustration had reached the point where something had to give.
