ISLAMABAD: Minister for Human Rights, Zahid Hamid Friday informed the National Assembly that it was part of Pakistan Muslim League-N manifesto to improve National Accountability Bureau (NAB) laws and establishment of a commission for ensuring transparent accountability.
Responding to a question, he said media trail should not be carried out until case was proved against accused, adding 10-year pending cases would be solved soon.
Zahid Hamid said that establishment of transparent accountability commission was also part of Charter of Democracy signed by PML-N and Pakistan People’s Party (PPP).
In a written reply, he said the regional offices of NAB finalized the numbers of corruption cases against the government employees during the last five years.
