TOKYO: Tokyo stocks fell Monday morning as investors cashed in on recent gains with uncertainty surrounding President Donald Trump’s policies.
The benchmark Nikkei 225 index lost 0.74 percent, or 144.62 points, to 19,322.78 by the break, while the Topix index of all first-section issues was down 0.70 percent, or 10.80 points, at 1,538.45.
