PESHAWAR: Three women were injured on Saturday (today) when they caught up in cross firing between workers of rival political parties in Nasapa polling station during polling for Local Bodies (LB) polls.
The workers of two political parties exchanged firing over a dispute outside a women polling station established in primary school.
According to reports, one woman sustained bullet injuries while two were injured due stampede when they run to escape the firing.
The polling station was declared sensitive despite that the police was not present in the area.
