CHARSADDA: Heavy firing is taking place inside the Bacha Khan University in Khyber Pakhtunkha’s Charsadda town on Wednesday with eyewitnesses claiming to have heard explosions as well.
Pakistan Television (PTV) reported, several people were injured including two security guards when three terrorists stormed in the university around 9:30 AM.
Intense gunfire continue following the attack. Students and university staff were stranded in the university. A few students managed to escape the university.
Five including two security guards injured in the attack were shifted to District Headquarter hospital Charsadda.
Hospital sources said one among five is in critical condition.
