JAMSHORO: At least three robbers were killed in a police encounter while looting passenger vehicles on Superhighway near Jamshoro on Thursday.
The sources said the armed dacoits were busy in looting vehicles near Jamshoro bypass when they encountered police and they started firing on seeing the police mobile van. Police fired back and killed three robbers. The bodies have been shifted to Civil Hospital Hyderabad for medico-legal formalities.
SSP Hyderabad Irfan Baloch said the robbers were wanted in more than 40 heinous crimes and stolen vehicle has been recovered from their possession.
