RAWALPINDI: Three Pakistani soldiers were martyred in cross-border firing on Pak-Afghan border.
According to the Pakistan Army Public Relations (ISPR), terrorists opened fire on Pak Army soldiers across the border in Dewagar district of North Waziristan on the Pak-Afghan border, prompting a full retaliation by the soldiers.

According to ISPR, three Pakistani soldiers were martyred in an exchange of fire with the terrorists.
The martyrs include Hawaldar Timur, Naik Shoaib and soldier Saqib Nawaz.
According to ISPR, Hawaldar Teymour is 30 years old from Jhelum, soldier Saqib Nawaz is 24 years old from Sialkot and Naik Shoaib is 38 years old from Attock.
ISPR strongly condemned the use of Afghan territory against Pakistan and hopes that the Afghan government will not allow such activities in the future.
It said that Pakistan Army is committed to defend Pakistan’s borders against terrorism. The sacrifices of brave soldiers further strengthen our resolve.
Last year, two soldiers were martyred in firing from across the Afghan border on Army checkpost in Bajaur district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, says the Inter-Services Public Relations.
The ISPR said that two Pakistani soldiers were martyred in the exchange of fire with the terrorists. The martyred personnel included 28-year-old soldier Jamal from Mardan and 21-year-old soldier Ayaz from Chitral.
The Pakistan Army responded effectively to the firing of terrorists, it added.
Three terrorists were killed and four others were injured in the retaliatory firing of the Pakistan Army.
