CHITRAL: Three more people have died while more than seventy houses were demolished in flood-hit Chitral on Saturday.
The death toll has risen to 26 in the area in last few days.
National Disaster Management Authority has handed over one thousand food packages to Chitral Scouts for distribution among the rain and flood-affected people of Chitral District.
The food packages were airlifted from Islamabad to Chitral in a C-130 aircraft.
Meanwhile, four trucks carrying food items have also reached Chitral from Peshawar. Later, the food items were handed over to the authorities concerned for distribution among the affected families
