KARACHI: Three labourers were killed after falling into chemical tank of a textile factory here on Monday.
According to details, the labourers were working at the roof of the chemical tank of a textile factory in Ports Qasim area of Karachi on Monday when it suddenly collapsed as a result five labourers fell into it.
Rescue teams reached the spot and rescued two labourers, Hassan and Saif-ur-Rehman, from the tank in critical condition and shifted them to Jinnah Hospital while three labourers died due to suffocation.
The dead labourers were identified as Raheel, Amir and Ijaz. Rescue teams recovered the dead bodies from the chemical tank on Tuesday after great efforts.
