Three Kashmiris martyred in Pulwama

ISLAMABAD: Indian troops in their fresh act of state terrorism martyred three Kashmiris including a woman in Pulwama, Indian Held Kashmir (IHK) on Sunday.

One youth identified as Aadil Wagay, who was a resident of Bandipore, was shot dead by the troops during a siege and search operation in Kakpur village of the district, Kashmir Media Service reported.

The killing led to forceful anti-India demonstrations and clashes between protesters and Indian police in Pulwama and adjoining areas.

Two civilians including a woman were killed and many were injured when police resorted to firing and teargas shells on the protesters.

The Chairman of All Parties Hurriyet Conference, Syed Ali Gilani and other Hurriyet leaders including Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, Zafar Akbar Butt, Firdous Ahmad Shah and Peoples Freedom League in their statements and addresses denounced the killings and use of force on protesters in Pulwama.
