KARACHI: Three gangsters of Gang War have been killed in police encounter in different areas of the city, while two Afghan citizens have been nailed by Counter Terrorism Department.
SP Ijaz Hashmi said the criminals opened fire on police during search operation in Ittehad Town. Two accused Naveed and Arshad were shot dead in retaliation by police.
Meanwhile, an accused of Uzair Baloch group was killed in police encounter in Singolane, Lyari. SP City Zeeshan Siddiqui said the killed criminal, Nasir alias Goli, was involved in killing a police officer.
In a separate raid, two people who came from Afghanistan for treatment were nabbed by CTD from a private hospital in Defence. They belonged to Qandhar province in Afghanistan and were under treatment since Sept 21.
