KARACHI: A five-storey residential building caved in killing four people and injuring several others in the city’s Gulbahar neighbourhood on Thursday.
The killed and the 22 injured were shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital, Dr Salma Kauser, the director of medical and health services of Karachi Metropolitan Corporation said.
Soon after the incident, law enforcement agencies reached the site and cordoned off the area.
Meanwhile, taking notice of the incident, Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah had directed the commissioner to ensure smooth rescue and relief operation in the area.
