KARACHI: Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer, Senator Sirajul Haq on Sunday said those named in Panama papers should morally resign of their positions.
While addressing to ‘Corruption Free Pakistan’ children rally, he said said that our children demand a corruption free Pakistan as the corrupt rulers of our country have place a burden of tens of thousands of rupees on the shoulder of each and every child of our country.
He expressed these views on Sunday while addressing a ‘Children Walk against Corruption’. A large number of children along with their parents and family members participated in the walk.
On the occasion, he announced to take out a ‘Corruption Free Train March’ from Peshawar to Karachi from May 25 to 27.
Speaking on the occasion, the JI Amir said that the massive corruption of the ruling elite has devastated the entire state. He said that the JI has launched drive against corruption and each and every child of our nation is standing shoulder to shoulder with us in this noble cause.
The JI leader expressed his vow to continue the struggle till the elimination of the corruption from the society.
“The children need a bright, prosper and peaceful Pakistan, free from poverty, inflation, joblessness and corruption,” he said.
Siraj added that our future generations need a country, where youngsters are not compelled to torch their educational certificates and degrees and where parents are not compelled to sale out their organs to feed their children.
He was of the view that corrupt ruling elite is the only major hurdle in the formation of a ‘corruption free Pakistan’. He alleged that back to back ruling regimes of Pakistan have been sheltering corruption since long.
He further said that all the children of our country are under burden of loans, taken from the international monitory institutions and plundered by the ruling classes. The corrupt rulers have made their off shore companies for their own children and let the millions of children of Pakistan to face starvation.
On the occasion, he demanded a comprehensive and effective mechanism of accountability so as each and every plundered penny of taxpayers could be recovered.
He said that no leader of JI have any off shore company and none of its member is involve in robbing off the nation. He also highlight the injustice being done against the peasants of the country as well as employees of the institutions like Pakistan Steel Mills and others.
JI Karachi chief Engr, Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman has said that the children of Pakistan have rejected the dynastic politics of corrupt rulers. He was of the view that the corrupt rulers would not be let flee.
