KARACHI: Pakistan’s coastal city Karachi was blanketed by dense fog on early Monday morning causing poor visibility and flights delays.
According to Met Office, visibility at Karachi’s Jinnah International Airport reduced to 100-150 meters resulting into delay of arrival and departure of both domestic and international flights.
Due to the fog, PIA flight PK-732 arriving from Jeddah was redirected to Nawabshah, Turkish Airlines flight coming to Karachi from Istanbul was directed to Dubai, PIA flight PK-214 was re-routed to Muscat, Qatar Airways flight arriving from Qatar was also delayed and a flight arriving Karachi from Faisalabad had been delayed due to the fog.
