ISLAMABAD: Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan, criticising India and Indian minister’s stance in Saarc ministerial meeting on Thursday said that there is difference between fight for freedom and terrorism.
The statement has come in response to Indian Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh’s criticism on Pakistan in his address at South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation’s interior minister conference in the federal capital.
Singh arrived in Islamabad on Wednesday to participate in the conference while Indian media reported that he would dub Kashmir dispute as India’s internal matter and raise Pathankot attack case.
Nisar said that brutality and violence against children and innocent locals in Kashmir is terrorism.
Pakistan never closed doors for talks and negotiations and it was the respected member of Saarc which does not take dialogue seriously, he said adding that every act of terrorism and extremist practice is condemnable.
The Interior Minister said that Pakistan respects all rules and agreements of South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation.
