Imran should resign to save some of his honour: Bilawal

ISLAMABAD: PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has said that our long march had proved no-confidence against the prime minister.

Addressing a press conference alongwith party leaders here on Thursday, Bilawal Bhutto said that it was a wonderful march. Wherever we went, people gave us warm welcome, which is a proof that masses had expressed their distrust against this undemocratic government.

He said that Asif Ali Zardari was threatened with guns by Prime Minister Imran Khan in front of the nation yesterday. This will not be tolerated, for the sake of this country, for the restoration of democracy, our family and party sacrificed, Bilawal said.

While addressing the prime minister, Bilawal said: “Khan Sahib, we are no longer children, we will not scare and retreat. Blood of Zardari and Shaheed Benazir Bhutto running in my veins. Your next generations will remember what I will do with you.”

The PPP chairman said: “I believe in democracy, I am a peaceful man and will remain peaceful for life. You do politics with us. Doing politics is our and your right.”

Bilawal said that we had been hearing allegations of corruption against President Zardari for 30 years. Many such scripts came before but Zardari did not bow down even for a single day.

He said that even today I challenge the prime minister to prove these allegations in the court but you cannot prove it because all these false cases were made by former chief justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry during the rule of former prime minister Nawaz Sharif.

It is being said that no transfer and posting can take place in Punjab unless the first lady is paid, he said.
