Thar coal power plant will start generating electricity by 2018 which will add 1,320 MW power into the National Grid.
Sources closer to the Ministry of Water and Power said that development work on the power projects was going on with full pace to get 1,320 MW electricity for energy-starve country.
The project will be completely with estimated cost of Rs2.60 billion which would be operational in 2018.
