LAHORE: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Wednesday said a test report of all-rounder Muhammad Hafeez’s bowling action in Biomechanics Facility at Lahore is still awaited.

“Hafeez’s bowling action was tested in Biomechanics Facility at Lahore and its report is yet to come. Once the test report comes and if he (Hafeez) clears the test then PCB would contact the ICC for his official examination,” PCB Chief Operating Officer, Subhan Ahmed told APP on Wednesday.

Hafeez, 35, is one of the senior players in Pakistan cricket having appeared in 50 Tests, 177 ODIs and 77 T20s. Hafeez has faced problems with his bowling action since 2014 and in July 2015 was banned from bowling in international cricket for 12 months after his action was found to be illegal for a second time since November 2014.

Meanwhile, Hafeez in a statement earlier this week had said that he was ready to undergo bowling assessment test and was fully fit.
