KARACHI: Four members of United Bank Limited cricket team were affected when a huge broke out in a hotel they were staying in here in the wee hours on Monday.
The players including Sohaib Maqsood, Umer Amin, Karamat Ali were Yaseen Mirza staying in Regent Plaza located on Shahrea Faisal for UBL’s match in the ongoing Quaid-e-Azam Trophy.
Karamat Ali and Yaseen Mirza got fractures after they jumped from the windows of Regent Plaza located on Shahrea Faisal to escape, local television channels reported.
Eleven people, three doctors and two foreign nationals among them, were killed and 75 others sustained burn injuries in the fire.
