Terrorists trying to sabotage Pak-India talks, Kerry phones PM

WASHINGTON/ISLAMABAD: US Secretary of State John Kerry on Saturday made telephonic conversation with Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, saying that terrorists wanted to interrupt continuation of Pakistan-India dialogues.

John Kerry praised efforts of PM Nawaz Sharif for playing vital role in the prevailing difficult situation. He expressed hopes that the incident would not affect upcoming series of dialogues between both countries.

PM Nawaz Sharif ensured Kerry that the country will not allow terrorism to use its soil for any terrorism act. He said that Pakistan is carrying out probe into the Pathankot terror attack.
