Terrorists’ domination in Karachi near to end: Sirajul Haq

KARACHI: Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Ameer Sirajul Haq said that oppressors were ruling the country by antagonizing poor and there is a need to change the tradition adding that there is no place for poor in the existing Pakistani system.

Sirajul Haq was addressing  lawyers at Karachi Bar Council at City Court on Saturday, he said that it was an honour to address the lawyers’ bar. He said that the bar always supported democracy and good politics and its doors never closed for political activists.

Siraj said that oppressors were ruling the country by antagonizing poor and there is a need to change the tradition adding that there is no place for poor in the existing Pakistani system.

While criticizing the rulers he said that few families were ruling the country and their financial assets were outside the country. Talking about terrorism in Karachi the JI chief said that terrorists were dominating the city which is very closer to end. He said that besides linguistic terrorism, the city has economic terrorism as well.

“I did not came to Karachi to conquer it,” he said and demanded the government to provide compensatory amount to martyred lawyers. Criticizing Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM), he said that masses of the metropolis several times elected the MQM but it could not establish peace in the city.

Stating his vision he said that the JI will end culture of hatred and spread love and affection in the city. Regarding by-poll in NA-246 constituency, he demanded implementation bio-metric system for locals to cast votes on the polling day.
