Terror bids foiled, four arrested, cache of arms recovered

RAWALPINDI/QUETTA: Two separate terror bids were foiled by the law enforcement agencies in Pindi Gheb near Rawalpindi and Quetta on Wednesday.
According to reports, Rangers and police carried out an operation in Dandi village of Pindi Gheb. During the operation they arrested four suspects and recovered huge cache of arms from their custody.
The security officials said the suspects were planning terror attacks in Rawalpindi
The security forces also foiled a terror bid as they recovered a bomb which was later defused by bomb disposal squad (BDS) in Quetta on Wednesday.
Sources said that the security personnel on a tip-off recovered a locally manufactured bomb planted by roadside at Sabzal Road in the provincial capital Quetta.
The BDS was called in which defused the bomb preventing causalities and property losses. INP
